Valeriana officinalis – Valerian Root

Valeriana officinalis is a plant, commonly referred to as valerian. Traditionally, valerian roots are brewed for tea or eaten for relaxation, sedation and anxiety-reducing effects. Valerian is one of the more popular sedative teas, it soothe Anxiety and make it easier to go to sleep. High doses of valerian have been noted to cause mild sedation. Valerian may also aid with menustral pain, since it is a spasmolytic.

I am very happy with the shredded Valerian Root! I took Valerian Root extract to help me sleep sometimes and the extract tastes super bitter and I was surprised how smooth and good it tastes when you make yourself a cup of tea with the root. I actually love to mix it with gaianas Lavender. Such a good combination. <3

I bought the powedered version and just take a spoonful and wash it down with water as with kratom. I really dont understand why people complain so much about smell and taste as I enjoy it. The effects are noticeable during the night, I seem to sleep deeper and better and get the most vivid and wildest dreams ever while on it.

This must be the strongest Valeriana ever! Bought this for my cats with the fireworks. Now they are addicted. They preffer this way above catnip. Thx Gaiana^^
