Borneo Gold
This Borneo Gold is a red vein! Over time the leaf grows more mature and changes in color, going from light green into a deeper reddish-green with a golden hue. These aged leaves have a different composition of alkaloids in compare to our regular Borneo Red Vein. It’s not necessarily stronger, but it shows a clear difference.
It’s a good additional alternative for those who love Red Veins!

Colour: Light brown.
Taste: Very earthy, slightly fermented, no bitterness, unlike any kratom I’ve ever tried (very unusual)
Dosage: It took almost double the amount of a usual dose to feel it, but this may be due to a slower onset.
I felt a subtle sedation, bodily relaxation and a clear mind. Nice to lie down and listen to music. It does not seem to pack the punch of other strains but is definitely longer-lasting (after an evening dose I feel relaxed and content well into the following day).
SEAN –
A good quality well-rounded strain, starts off slowly but does not cause any anxiety or irritability. Seems to last longer than other strains, as dosing is required less often. More relaxing than stimulating. Recommended.

First dose of 3g felt more subtle than other strains but an increase to 5g was quite sedating as well. Like a more neutral borneo strain with weaker euphoria waves. Try it.
