Picralima nitida – Akuamma Seed Powder

The dried seeds from the Picralima nitida tree, commonly known as Akuamma, are used in traditional medicine throughout West Africa, particularly in Ghana as well as in the Ivory Coast and Nigeria.

In traditional African medicine, Picralima nitida seeds are used for the treatment of malaria and diarrhoea. It is used as a painkiller and for its antipyretic, anti-diabetic and anti-inflammatory effects.

Akuammine is the most abundant active alkaloid found in the seeds from the tree Picralima nitida. It is an opiate, but its action is principally on the kappa opioid receptor, as such it helps by relieving pain, comparable to Kratom.

This is a great powder, seems potent enough for a painkiller plus stimulant. Might recommend it for relaxation. it does not always stay long, and possible to experiment with dosage. For as long it has no side effects and better than fun

I was wonder what this is… the taste is bitter and worse than I thought, but effects are really very antidepressant with good and positive warm feelings (it’s not in all like kratom; because some effects is similar to nutmeg).

Kratom is better (primarily for daily using). But this Akuamma must everyone try! It’s really nice when you want other phyto-opiod experience!
And there is not possibility to attack stomach with Akuamma! :)
