Smudge Feathers

These special Smudge Feathers are composed of Swan or Turkey feathers, in the style of the Native Indians. These Smudge Feathers are finished with coarse wool and special materials. The color of the beads and materials may differ from the picture. The Turkey is a single feather whereas the Swan are 2 feathers tied together, both are approximately 30cm in length.

Useful for smudging  Palo Santo, White Sage, Resins or other herbs. But, also used to clean auras and chakras during a ceremonial ritual.

Smudge Feathers are used in smudge rituals

The feather is an important symbol in the rituals of Native Americans. The feather represents the wilderness of Mother Earth. The Native Americans attached great importance to this symbol. The feather is still seen a lot in ceremonies of people who adhere to a nature religion. Smudging is such a ceremony. By smudging you cleanse yourself and your surrounding from negative energy. With a smudge feather you can spread the smoke from your smudging herbs everywhere.

Please note: that these feathers are collected in the wild. Just like people, feathers are not all the same, so the feathers may differ in color and shape. Also, parts of the feather may be darker or somewhat brownish.
