Panax ginseng – Root Powder

Panax Ginseng is commonly referred to as the ‘True Ginseng’, being the most researched ‘Ginseng’, and is effective for mood, immunity, and cognition; subpar for erections, testosterone, and exercise.

Panax Ginseng tends to be taken in doses of 1gr to 3gr daily for general ‘preventative’ medicine. The 3gr dose appears to confer most cognitive benefit.

‘Red’ (Red Ginseng, Red Panax Ginseng, etc.) refers to a process of heat treatment which alters the coloration. The Red is slightly different in alkaloid composition compared to the untreated White Ginseng and contributes to some unique bio-actives only documented in the Red Ginseng. Both Red and White originate from the same plant.
